School Zone Safety

As students return to classes for the new school year, drivers should be cautious of young pedestrians and bicyclists.  It is important to learn and be aware of the school zone requirements in your area.

According to choosesafetyforlife.com more than 230 million children begin and end their day on a school bus.  As a driver, the number one thing you can do to help ensure the safety of children in school zones is to slow down.  Most school zones are usually marked with yellow or green signage that indicates a slower speed during specific daytime hours.
